Director, Archives Leadership Institute (2013-2018)
The Archives Leadership Institute (ALI) is a program funded by the National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC), a statutory body affiliated with the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA. The Institute was hosted at Luther College for the years 2013-2015 and will be hosted at Berea College from 2016 - 2018. ALI provides advanced training for 25 emerging and innovative leaders each year, giving them the knowledge and tools to transform the archival profession in practice, theory and attitude.

Program Director, The Postville Project (2011-2014)
The Postville Project seeks to create a digital collection record of the community of Postville, Iowa, before, during and after a significant immigration raid that occurred on May 12, 2008.

Program Director, Journeys to America (2010-2012)
In July 2010, Luther College (Decorah, Iowa), in partnership with Vesterheim Norwegian-American Museum, received a basic processing grant of $119,898 from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC) for a project designed to make available and accessible materials documenting the Norwegian-American experience.
